A big room that gives a terrific and appetizing impression of the old-fashioned big restaurants. Patio overlooks Kenmore Square. The menu is all over the place, with revived comfort food like cod fritters, spaghetti carbonara, and lamb shanks among the best food; a solid raw bar; and some variable bistro food, with conservative desserts.
Insider's Tip: The Metamorphosis cocktail builds on a foundation of Becherovka, a sweetly-spiced potable bitters from the Czech Republic, and is a bracing, not-too-sweet, and possibly healthful potion.
