(view map)
What was once Petal and Leaf is now a brand-new art gallery called the Aviary and helmed by 25-year-old proprietress Lindsay Metivier. And for its ambitious first-ever show, “Sound on Sight,” she’s assembled a group of photographs from local musicos representing 21 bands, among them Drug Rug, Mission of Burma, Neptune, Damon and Naomi, Hallelujah the Hills, Viva Viva, Come, Animal Hospital, Cold Water Flat, and the J. Geils Band. Reception March 3: 7-10 pm.
