Emo-indie vets Death Cab For Cutie have come a long way. Who would have thought, back in their melancholy, heart-on-a-sleeve Transatlanticism days, that they’d be headlining a massive show at the Bank of America Pavilion and plugging a new album anchored in buoyant optimism? Probably not Ben Gibbard. We hope they’ll bring a bit of the old with the new to their show tonight.
