First, there's the Frequent Buyer program: give HARVARD BOOK STORE your email address, and in exchange, they give you an adorable key fob that entitles you to discount, and signals to everyone who sees it that you read books. Then there's the flat discount on the bestselling titles in the store — always useful in a place where the clientele has excellent taste. But then there are the remainders. Oh, those remainders: towering stacks of literary fiction, graphic novels, cookbooks, and seemingly every title NYRB Classics has ever released. Harvard Book Store shines as a literary Valhalla and a cheapskate's delight, even without Steve Almond or the book machine.
