The Wailin' Jennys
Summary: A pun on the country singer Waylon Jennings , The Wailin' Jennys are a Canadian folk music trio originating in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Founded in 2002 when a local music shop brought together three solo acts for a performance, having changed a group member twice, they currently consist of soprano Ruth Moody, mezzo Nicky Mehta, and alto Heather Masse, although all band members are adept at various instruments as well.
