Summary: The Perceptionists are an American hip hop group from Boston, Massachusetts. They are signed to definitive jux . The trio consists of Fakts One (DJ), Akrobatik and Mr. Lif . The group is known for their socially conscious lyrics. Their first album, ", Black Dialogue", came out on March 23, 2005 and featured the single ", Memorial Day", , which was heavily critical of the war in Iraq. The album also featured guest spots from Shock G aka Humpty Hump from Digital Underground and Guru from Gang Starr .
