The Resurrectionists celebrate the dark depths of American roots music with a feel-good, righteous rock fervor. Refined over the course of countless gigs in and around Boston, the 4-piece band’s performances combines driving rhythms and hellbent showmanship with a twilit vocal tour of love and faith, booze and the blues. In 2008, the band secured its foothold in the thriving Boston Americana rock scene, releasing the self-recorded album &amp;quot;Here Hope Flows...Like Blood From the Nose” and launching a quarterly musical series, &amp;quot;the Dark Holler Stomp and Musical Revue,&amp;quot; dedicated to pushing the boundaries of American roots. Headlining slots on local Americana rock bills followed in addition to supporting gigs with like-minded national acts such as Slim Cessna’s Auto Club, Rev. Peyton's Big Damned Band, Trampled by Turtles, The Devil Makes Three, Red Elvises, and Scott H. Biram.
