Metallica
Summary: Metallica is an American metal band formed in 1981 in Los Angeles when drummer Lars Ulrich posted an advertisement in a local newspaper. Metallica's line-up has primarily consisted of Ulrich, rhythm guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, and lead guitarist Dave Mustaine. Dave was then fired due to alcoholism and drug addiction problems. His place took Kirk Hammett. They have changed several bassists such as Ron McGovney, Cliff Burton (died in an accident), Jason Newsted, and Robert Trujillo.
