Mean Creek's new release, "The Sky (Or The Underground)", out now on Old Flame Records, is a valiant, dynamic effort to resurrect Boston's relevance back to a time when bands like the Pixies, Throwing Muses, the Lemonheads, and Buffalo Tom reigned supreme. Combining the energy & edge of rock music, with earnest lyrics, and catchy boy/girl harmonies, they create a passionate and intense sound all their own. Their songs will leave a lasting impression on even the most jaded of music fans. In June 2010 the band will release a brand new 7 inch/digital single produced by John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth), also available from Old Flame Records.
