Summary: Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is a Grammy-winning multi-platinum American pop singer, songwriter, dancer and occasional actress, author and director. Having sold more than 83 million records worldwide, she appears as one of the most influential and popular post-2000 icons of music, with five #1 albums in the Billboard Hot 200 and The United World Chart. Spears is by far the most successful musician of her generation and one of the fewer young musicians to appear on the rank of the best selling music acts of all-time. She also holds the title to multiple world records.
