The Carolina Chocolate Drops blew the doors off the Somerville Theatre last time they were in town with their invigorated take on the African-American side of Piedmont-style hillbilly music. Now the banjo-fiddle-jug-etc. trio try their stuff out at the smaller, cozier Paradise. Boston Tex-Mex outfit David Wax Museum opens.
