In case you haven’t heard the news, ’90s indie/alt-rock pioneers Pavement have reunited and are playing their first Boston show in more than a decade. All reports from their festival-heavy summer indicate that Stephen Malkmus and company are in fine form, plucking cuts evenly from their now iconic discography. Word on the street is that they reunited solely to cash in on a quick payday, so unless you want to wait another 10 years, catch them now with Jenny (Lewis) and Johnny (Rice) in the opening slot.
