Vee Vee has prices low enough to cover its minor flaws. (I'd rather have low prices and crowded tables than room to stretch my legs.) The food is pescatarian, but you forget that because chef Dan Valachovic has a real style, and subtly combines flavors that satisfy. Don't miss the romaine salad, squash soup, and quinoa pancakes, and definitely don't skip dessert. The only pricey item is the wines, but they are worth it. Dress casually, otherwise the owners may realize they can raise prices.
