Common Ground

85 Harvard Ave, Allston, MA
617.783.2071   |  website

  • Neighborhood: Allston-Brighton
  • Directions: B Line to Harvard Ave at Brighton Avenue
  • Hours: Daily, noon-2 am, kitchen open until 11 pm
The folks at Common Ground aren’t joking when they say they don’t cater to tourists, even if they do have DirectTV. A wide variety of live music is on hand, and casual Allston atmosphere pervades. Live music every Fri and Sat, Mon is trivia night starting at 7:30 pm, and Thurs is Love Night, a night devoted exclusively to the 1980s (a decade that immediately brings amorousness to the heart and mind). Kitchen open until 11 pm Thurs through Sat; outdoor seating available until 10 pm.
